An open letter to the U.S. Congress

International Students Deserve To Study in the U.S.

42 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

In May 2025, President Trump signed an executive order to block international students from studying in the United States. First, international students deserve to be in the United States, especially after already going through the application process. Second, this action also has devastating effects on education, research, healthcare, the economy, and more. I demand that you reject this presidency’s blatant xenophobia and anti-intellectualism. International students deserve opportunities just like everybody else. America’s ability to recruit diverse talent strengthens and betters our society.
