Please get a clean debt ceiling bill passed. No citizen wants to see a default, government shut down, or economic collapse. Y’all raised the debt ceiling and ballooned the debt multiple times under Trump without any concern for “government spending.” Stop the hypocrisy, get your congressional obligations done, then separately debate your policy positions in good faith on stable economic ground.
