Background check all Nominees

I write to implore you to demand an FBI background check on presidential nominees as has been the standard for employment in federal positions during previous Republican administrations. Changing this basic employment requirement would impede your ability to properly consider whether to confirm their appointments. Too many nominees have questions about their backgrounds, they should at least meet background requirements of those under their leadership.
