Greetings. I am a voting constituent in rural west Texas. I’m writing to object strenuously to having to pay for the anti-democracy lawsuit filed by the Texas Attorney General. $43K. I’m referring to the lawsuit filed by Ken Paxton’s office on behalf of Texas in the attempt to overthrow the results of the 2020 presidential election. How is it that your constituents should be expected to pay costs associated with this attempt to harm our democracy? And subvert the will of the American people? Please explain to me. P.S. I want my money back.
