I am writing to request that you veto HB 129, 186, and 335. Yes, property taxes shouldn’t be the majority income for school districts. The Ohio State Senate declared our funding formula unconstitutional decades ago, yet lawmakers refuse to come up with a fair alternative. To sign these bills into law without alternative funding plans will be devastating to schools, libraries, and first responders. Veto these bills to force lawmakers to come up with alternative funding measures.
