I am writing today to urge you to immediately move to claw back the 170 billion in funding allocated to ICE and CBP by H.R. 1 funding last year. This funding allows ICE to terrorize our communities at the expense of programs that actually keep our country safe and promote the general welfare (as the Constitution demands) of the citizens with healthcare.
