Fund Homelessness Prevention

I am asking you to support a $100 million in flexible funding packet to provide housing stability and homelessness prevention services, including outreach, wrap around services, rapid rehousing services, assistance with application fees and deposits, and other emergency housing assistance. These funds should be administered through the current network of Community Action Agencies and locally based and culturally specific providers currently working across the state. The state legislature has been innovative and responsive in prioritizing housing stability. For many Oregonians the economic fallout of the pandemic is still ongoing. Please support flexible funding for housing stability and homeless prevention services.
