Please vote in favor of HR 5, the Equality Act, when it comes before you in the Senate. It's time to ensure that LGBTQIA+ Americans are treated equally under the Civil Rights Act of 1964. I am appalled to learn that 29 states still allow discrimination against LGBTQIA+ people in areas like employment and housing. The harm created to families across America is unacceptable. I am counting on you to take a stand for freedom for all Americans.
