Conditions for ICE Funding: Accountability and Constitutional Safeguards

I am writing to demand that any funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement be conditioned on strong accountability, transparency, and constitutional protections. Please require the following: • Judicial warrants before home entry or arrests
 • Visible agent identification and badge numbers
 • Mandatory body cameras during operations
 • Prohibition on masked or concealed identities
 • Protection of sensitive locations such as schools, hospitals, churches, and courts
• Enforceable bans on racial and ethnic profiling
 • National use of force standards and de escalation training
 • Independent oversight and misconduct investigations
 • Guaranteed legal access for detainees Public safety and civil liberties must coexist. Funding without safeguards erodes trust and weakens democratic institutions. I urge you to make these protections non negotiable in any appropriations legislation.
