As your constituent, I urge you to take urgent action to provide immigration protections with a path to citizenship to millions of immigrants who already call America home.
Immigrants are valued members of our communities. They are our friends, families, and neighbors. They contribute billions to our economy and are crucial to America’s recovery. They were here for us at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, putting their lives at risk to keep our nation running and they continue to be here for us.
An overwhelming majority of voters on both sides of the aisle support a pathway to citizenship for millions. I ask that you do everything in your power to deliver on the will of the people so we can thank immigrant workers with the respect and protection a pathway to U.S. citizenship would provide.
We can build a more robust, inclusive, and thriving America when everyone is included in recovery efforts, no matter where we were born or the color of our skin.
