504 Plans in Public Schools are ESSENTIAL!

I live in Texas. My child goes to a public school in Texas and has since they were in Kindergarten. I am writing to express my concern over recent efforts to target Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act by pursuing Texas v. Becerra. Section 504 is vital in protecting individuals with disabilities from discrimination and ensuring equal access to education, employment, and public services. Any actions that weaken or undermine Section 504 would harm vulnerable individuals and contribute to greater inequality. I urge you to stop efforts to diminish these important protections and ask that the State of Texas drops out of Texas v Becerra. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
