Support National Public Health Measures - Oppose ‘Magical Thinking’

I’m writing today because the health of our nation is completely at risk. There’s a concerted attempt to replace science with magical thinking at the highest levels of our national health agencies. The quick fix is for Congress to force the removal of the quack RFK Jr., Director of NIH Battacharya, and Deputy Director Memoli. Science is the only thing that has allowed us to advance as far as we have. Prior to standardized, science-based and carefully researched public health vaccination policies, and establishment of systems to deliver counter-measures have saved countless lives. From my perspective, we need science to continue to improve our prevention technologies. We live in a world that is at increasing risk of “poly-epidemics”—health crises with many dimensions and exacerbating factors. So, when we face these highly lethal threats, such as a fast-moving, high-mortality respiratory epidemic, every minute of improvement in the timeline of development of medical countermeasures counts. Yet the current leadership at the CDC and NIH has abandoned any sense of the work required, and have instead actively sabotaged decades of work. Nine former CDC directors have similarly argued that Kennedy, specifically, is endangering the health of Americans with six former Surgeon Generals joining in support of opposing Secretary Kennedy as well as his lackeys and all the ignorant ACIP members whose opinion is not worth anything. These people must be opposed and in hearings I ask you to use experts to give counter testimony to expose their fraudulent activities. Restoring confidence in vaccines, medical prevention, and partnership with hospitals and the private sector must be a priority. Lives are at stake. Thank you.
