Instead of imposing burdensome fees that jeopardize a crucial economic sector, exploring alternative deficit reduction measures that do not penalize middle-class workers would have been a more prudent approach. I urge you to reconsider this counterproductive policy that stands to harm travel industry employees and American economic interests.
