Restore NIH research funding!

Science research in the United States was already underfunded before Bull Musk started rampaging through the government China shop. Now, because of Musk's arbitrary and capricious decision to reduce the NIH's indirect cost reimbursement rate for grants to 15%, the problem has been made dramatically worse literally overnight. Congress certainly did not intend for the NIH to be paying scientists too little for them to be able to complete the work you're choosing to fund. Given that, what are you doing to correct this terrible mistake from hobbling our country's research efforts and forcing us out of our leading rule in worldwide research? Surely this is a bipartisan issue? Surely Republicans also want the U.S. to remain a leader in scientific research? Surely Congress can agree to correct this?
