I'm a constituent contacting you to say that I want President Biden and the Democrats to lift the debt ceiling without any help from House Republicans. Either through the 14th Amendment or with Rep. DeSaulnier’s discharge petition. Stay strong and refuse to negotiate away our futures. The Republicans want to tank the economy and take regular Americans down with it. The Republicans are negotiating in bad faith. They want chaos and then will blame Biden. Also, everyday Democrat legislators such as yourself should remind the public that Republicans raised the debt ceiling three times with no pre-conditions when Trump was in office. Three times! Debt Ceiling pre-conditions is not a norm. Thanks.
