Do Your Job!

In my first year out of law school, I was taught the first thing you do before you act is “Read The Statute!!” Apparently nobody told the Trump administration, or DOGE, or Elon Musk or the tech bros to “Read the Statute.” And apparently nobody taught them to add, subtract, multiply or divide either. Million is spelled with an M, not a B. 655 million dollars is different from 18 million. And Court Orders mean what they say!! But these smart asses think they can fake numbers, violate the law and be in contempt of court without penalty. It is time Congress remembered that only it has the power of the purse, not unelected bozos hired at 47’s instigation. Presidents do not make law. Congress makes laws. Presidents do not designate where money is to be spent; only Congress can do that. YOU are Congress. DO YOUR JOB! Get Musk out of our agencies!
