Disgrace

Coward. You had the chance, the obligation, to stand up for the Constitution, for the rule of law and the peaceful transfer of power, for the inviolability of our democratic elections, and you failed. Instead, you chose your allegiance to Trump over your allegiance to this country. You now stand with seditionists and insurrectionists, with white supremacists and terrorists. You’re good with the violent overthrow of our democratic system and the attempted assassination of political leaders. And you’re good with the President of the United States inciting a mob to violence. You’re a coward and a disgrace. And the fact that you are my senator sickens me.
