An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Ban Congressional Stock Trading

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

Members of Congress were elected to serve the public, not profit from insider trading. However, recent reports reveal a Republican senator violated stock disclosure laws for the second time in just two weeks. This unethical conduct undermines trust in our government. To restore integrity, we must prohibit sitting members of Congress and their spouses from trading individual stocks. Elected officials should be focused on legislating for the people's interests, not exploiting their positions for personal financial gain. I urge you to support the Congressional Stock Trading Ban to ensure public servants are held to the highest ethical standards and eliminate conflicts of interest.
