THERE ARE NO WINNERS IN THIS SHUTDOWN DEBACLE. ONLY LOSERS.

Could someone please tell the president he has won the shutdown fight? For the moment anyway. Whatever the solution capitulated to by the Dems turns out to be, it looks like the government is on the way to reopening. So why is he still trying to wreak vengeance on the American people? As far as we can tell his life has not been impacted one iota by the shutdown. But still he’s unhappy with us. He’s going back to SCOTUS to ask them, again, to please help him starve Americans. He continues to attack people doing their jobs even without pay, because some of them decided they needed to make a living by maybe turning to the gig economy to keep roofs over their heads and food on the table. Specifically aimed at air traffic controllers…”I am NOT HAPPY WITH YOU. You didn’t step up to help the U.S.A. against the FAKE DEMOCRAT ATTACK that was only meant to hurt our Country. You will have a negative mark, at least in my mind, against your record. If you want to leave service in the near future, please do not hesitate to do so, with NO payment or severance of any kind! You will be quickly replaced by true Patriots, who will do a better job….” What an inept, dreadful, abusive person we have leading America. He’s probably never had a dog in his life. But someone should tell him even a dog will fight back if kicked one too many times. So in the hope of making lemonade out of the lemons given to we the people by Dem senators, at least the House will be called back into session. Which means the AZ representative will finally be sworn in, a vote will be taken on releasing the Epstein files, and we can finally discover what it is the Trump administration has been trying so desperately to hide from us. It’s a good fantasy anyway. But one true thing will absolutely happen. The growing wave of discontent in the country, now further fueled by the outrageous Dem capitulation in a fight the majority of us supported, will result in a progressive Tea Party tsunami in the 2026 mid-terms. We are sick of disingenuous politics. We are sick of entrenched politicians who manipulate voters with bad faith rhetoric. We are sick of the old guard, whose claim to power tries to convince us that age and experience is always a safer bet than youth and idealism. Nope. No more of all that. We’re done with BS as usual. You have abused our trust for too long. In the meantime try and do your jobs while you still have them. Release the Epstein files.
