You have an opportunity, Senator, to be a major figure in the history of this country. You've been handed an awesome responsibility by voters. You are squandering it, however, by never once speaking out against Trump, never once denouncing any of his most outrageous claims, never blocking his actions that defy court orders. You are willingly destroying your own personal and professional reputation by hitching your wagon to a felon, and for what? At the end of your life, what do you want to be remembered for? Do you want to be thought a good and decent man, which I believe you are? Or do you want to be remembered as the man who appeased Donald Trump at any and all costs, no matter the damage to the nation? This isn't some made-up 'derangement syndrome' about which you can joke - this is the very integrity of our country. You are meant to be the checks and balances, but you have thus far in the Trump administration utterly failed in that duty. Where is your oath of office, Senator? When will we see the man you are instead of the puppet you've chosen to be?
