Walters must resign as Superintendent to protect public education.

Ryan Walters should resign immediately as State Superintendent of Public Instruction. His conduct in office has been rife with controversy, incompetence, and abuse of authority that risks grave harm to Oklahoma's public education system. Walters has repeatedly overstepped the bounds of his position, disregarded the rule of law, misspent public funds, and sowed hostility and division through his inflammatory rhetoric attacking students, educators, and core democratic values. By resigning, he can begin to restore integrity and accountability to an office he has badly tarnished. Oklahoma students, parents, and taxpayers deserve far better leadership guiding their public schools.
