An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

Prosecute perpetrators of insurrection to uphold democratic norms

3 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The disgraced former president committed unconscionable, criminal acts in a treacherous, desperate bid to illegally overturn legitimate election results. He incited violent insurrection, launching a brazen, vicious assault on American democracy itself in his abhorrent attempt to subvert the constitutional transfer of power. Respect and compromise must be utterly abandoned when confronted with such despicable, reprehensible attacks on our system of government. No mercy whatsoever can be shown to those responsible for this loathsome betrayal - they must face immediate, uncompromising prosecution to the absolute fullest extent of the law. This is the only path to re-establish that no one, no matter their position or sickening privilege, stands above the rule of law. Decisive action to mete out harsh, unrelenting punishment for these repugnant abuses of power is the sole way to begin restoring any faith in our democratic institutions that this villainous despot has so maliciously eroded.
