An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

If you don't defend due process for one of us, you won't for all of us.

As a taxpayer, I think it is important to have a neutral arbitrator provide due process to someone accused of a crime or is accused of being undocumented before decisions are made. Wouldn't you like a fair hearing or trial if someone accused you of a crime or said you were not a U.S. citizen? What is wrong with following established law that has been a practice in this country since before you were born? If you don't like the constitution or that we are a country of laws then maybe you would prefer moving to Russia or Belarus? Patriotism isn't showing unquestioning blind allegiance to Donald Trump. Patriotism is supporting the Constitution, standing for democracy and traditional institutions that have always been a part of this country. I hope you will find it in you to start representing the people who employ you and upholding your oath. I'm not seeing any evidence of either right now.
