I am your constituent and I know that you are very concerned about how much the government spends. I want you to remember that If we had universal healthcare, like H.R. 3069 /S.1506, we could save a fortune. In December of 2020 the non-partisan Congressional budget office released a report on five different techniques to implement universal health care in the U.S, and they found that they all saved $400 billion on excess overhead and $200 billion on drug costs. In 2025 dollars, adjusting for inflation, that’s savings of a half a trillion dollars in overhead and $250 billion in drug costs.
We all deserve a healthcare system that works for all of us and that we can all afford. I want you to bring Universal Healthcare to a vote. Thank you.
