We have a background check gun problem in this country. Over 400 children have died this year, and we’re not yet at the end of May. They died at the mall, faces blown off. They died just in the driveway turning around. They died ringing the wrong doorbell. They died in parks, walking with their parents. They died at home, killed by passing shots. They are killed by the hundreds at their schools, blown into unrecognizable pieces from kindergarten to seniors in high school, where they should be safe, and all of this time; there are some simple solutions to make it safer for all kids. Be our voice and take action.
Over 84% of Americans support background checks for guns. We need to make this safer for our children to be able to play and not live in fear. I ask you to support and pass the gun BiPartisan gun background check bill H.R.715 - Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2023. I want you to imagine saying goodbye to your kid, leaving for school every day, and worrying if today will be the day some kid brings in a gun and the last day you see them alive.
Work on supporting and passing this sensible Bill - it’s a bipartisan supported Bill and will save the lives of millions of children and adults in the future. Don’t just say prayers and think thoughts every time these tragedies happen. Do something.
