Safeguard judicial independence and democracy's guardrails

The call to impeach Judge Boasberg over a ruling against former President Trump is an egregious attempt to undermine judicial independence and the rule of law. Our judges must be free to make impartial decisions based solely on the facts and law, without fear of retaliation or political intimidation. Such reckless attacks on the integrity of the judicial branch pose a grave threat to our democratic system of checks and balances. We must firmly reject any efforts to weaponize impeachment for partisan purposes and vehemently defend the ability of courts to serve as an independent arbitrator of justice, free from interference or coercion.
