The Democratic Party politicians have shown they are out of touch with their constituents. 80% of Democrat voters want a ceasefire in Gaza and Israel. The majority of Americans want a ceasefire. We are paying attention to elected officials who uphold the interests of the people (shout out to Rep Barbara Lee). We are paying attention to who truly upholds humanity and the right to self determination. The US government’s complicity in this genocide of the Palestinian people will not be forgotten. Each day you do not demand a ceasefire, you are complicit in the murders of innocent civilians. Over 13,000 Palestinians have been massacred by the Israeli military. We demand a ceasefire NOW. This is the only pathway for addressing the violence and trauma enacted. We demand safe release of all hostages, including Palestinians being held under Israeli detention. We demand that humanitarian aid be provided to Palestinians and all necessary support to rebuild their home. We demand an end to supporting Israel’s apartheid state and occupation of Palestine. We demand advocacy for a free and liberated Palestine where all— regardless of ethnicity, nationality, heritage, or religion— can live equally and freely.
