Stop Medicaid Cuts

As a North Carolina resident, I’m very concerned about the impact that defunding Medicaid by $319 million will have on Medicaid providers and patients, and nursing homes, hospitals, and clinics in my county. I’m frustrated that the General Assembly has left Medicaid underfunded, and I am writing to urge you not to let these cuts take place. It’s dangerous to leave money out of our Medicaid network, and we’re counting on you to make sure that doesn’t continue. We need more health care in N.C., not more Medicaid cuts! Please do the right thing and vote to fully fund the health of our state before the provider cuts are scheduled to begin on October 1, 2025.
