Protect Children Not Guns

I do not appreciate the tone of your “do you agree” or “don’t you agree” polls. It is phrased in a manipulative manner. Please consider asking it with “Do you think” which is more from a place that is neutral, unbiased, and curious. No I do NOT agree the ATF should stop regulating GUN SILENCERS. Full stop. The sound that gun violence victims remember hearing is the pop, loud sound of the guns as the shooter began to shoot. These folks are alive because silencers weren’t as readily available. We should not roll that back and cause more death and destruction. Guns are cool. But respect for guns, and a sense of responsibility around them is way cooler. We are the adults now, we must protect this country from senseless deaths. Children’s most likely cause of death is from being shot in this country. Until that changes, we should make common sense gun laws stronger and not take them away, carelessly. I need you as my representative to give a crap about children dying from school shootings. Any push to protect guns over people is proof that you’re bought by the gun lobby.
