STOP RFK JR’S AUTISM REGISTRY!

Based on the concerning information about RFK Jr.'s plans for a national autism registry and his inaccurate, stigmatizing rhetoric around autism, it is imperative that elected representatives take immediate action to protect the privacy and rights of autistic individuals. As an autistic adult leading a successful life, I strongly object to having my private medical records accessed without consent for an agenda rooted in pseudoscience and discriminatory ideology. Autistic people are valuable members of society who deserve to live freely without fear of being targeted or segregated. RFK Jr.'s unfounded claims about autism being a "preventable disease" and autistic individuals being incapable of achievements like writing poetry are not only factually wrong but promote harmful stereotypes. His alarming pre-election statements about sending neurodivergent people to work camps are deeply concerning human rights violations. I urge you to take decisive steps to ensure RFK Jr. and his team do not gain unauthorized access to the confidential medical data of autistic Americans. Autistic voices deserve to be heard and respected. Decisive action is needed to protect our community from further harm and discrimination, and safeguarding our privacy and preventing the misuse of sensitive information for discriminatory purposes must be a top priority.
