It's my understanding that Democrats have re-introduced the Equality Act as S. 5 recently. This bill is designed to amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to include discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation. I strongly support it. We need to support LGBTQ protections. If you are not a co-sponsor, I’d like you to sign on as one. With all the attacks happening against LGBTQ people right now, we need to stand up in solidarity for this community. Thank you.
