An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Close the Immigration Concentration Camps

6 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

Conditions in Florida’s immigration detention centers are holding detainees in degrading and dehumanizing conditions, in violation of international human-rights standards and the U.S. government’s own detention guidelines. You have allowed Trump to open and operate actual concentration camps, where people are being starved, forced to defecate in front of each other, and are denied life-saving medical intervention. Regimes eventually fall, and when they do, collaborators and facilitators get brought to trial. Are you sure you want to be on this side of history? Close the detention centers and return us to common sense immigration policies.
