Why Are We Not Moving?

Please work to end the filibuster so you can actually pass laws that need to get passed - like HR 1 and HR 4.  And please pass legislation raising the minimum wage!  If it means overruling the parliamentarian then why are you not doing that? Republicans are NEVER going to stop pressing their advantage to suppress voting, weaken our democracy and overthrow our government elected by the people. If you do not push past their blocking actions to save our democracy, then I fear we are lost. You need to pass COVID relief. You need to raise the minimum wage to fight the poverty that is overrunning our country. You need to increase the size of the Supreme Court to counter the conservative packing done by the Republicans over the last four years. You need to make DC a state! And Puerto Rico too if possible! Your opponents, OUR opponents, have proven that they will break any norm, stretch or break every law or rule they can to cement authoritarian rule in the country. We need to fight back! You need to “Bill Belichick” the shit out of this problem and pull out a win for democracy! We all fought SO HARD over the last four year just to reach the small advantage we have now.
