Your recent rants about protecting military members show an appalling lack of understanding on your part. Not vaccinating everyone means all those who are not vaccinated put the remainder at risk, should the unvaccinated contract Covid. So, if you’re worried about protecting the troops you ought to be supporting mandatory vaccinations, not fighting them.
Additionally, no one ever said the Covid vaccine prevents you from catching Covid. No one. What the vaccination does is greatly reduce the severity of Covid if you contract it, and almost eliminates the possibility that you might die from Covid.
So, get smart, Senator: stop saying you’re trying to protect the troops when what you’re doing is grandstanding and lobbying for a policy that would put the all the vaccinated military members at risk.
