Publish the Equal Rights Amendment!

The ERA has cleared the threshold for ratification, but it’s been held up because of GOP opposition and legal debates. President Biden has the authority and the responsibility to instruct the National Archivist to publish the ERA as the 28th Amendment and should do so before leaving office. While not a silver bullet, the ERA could provide a critical tool for combating discrimination against women, girls, and LGBTQ+ people nationwide. And it’s about time!
