An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Oppose White House Financial Conflicts of Interest and Financial Schemes

663 so far! Help us get to 1,000 signers!

As my elected official I need you to take action against the obvious financial schemes being run out of the White House. What is happening is not governance. It is profiteering, and it is happening in plain sight. I am incensed that Congress is NOT doing their job and allowing these activities to be continue right in front of our eyes. The market manipulations and insider trading MUST STOP! Your constituents are watching, and we expect you to act. This is a straightforward test of whether Congress will hold the executive branch accountable or look the other way while a public office is used for private gain. So far it appears that ignoring the blatantly obvious unconstitutional actions coming from the Oval Office is the only thing we the people will see from our elected officials. I expect you to use every tool available to you. I don’t care if it is oversight hearings or legislation. You need to do whatever it takes to put a stop to these egregious activities. Do your job.
