Oppose AB 163! Health care for all Wisconsinites!

As your constituent, I urge you to oppose bill AB 163. This bill adds unnecessary barriers to low-income Wisconsin residents who rely on BadgerCare for healthcare coverage. The additional administrative burden and risk of disenrollment would disproportionately fall on people of color, Indigenous people, and those with disabilities. It will exacerbate health inequities for Wisconsinites who are the most marginalized in our communities. Every person deserves access to healthcare. The recent cuts to Medicaid by the Trump administration are cruel and will cause suffering. I request that you join me in making sure this bill DOES NOT get passed so we do not add to the loss of healthcare coverage in Wisconsin.
