Support Rep. Al Green’s next articles of impeachment

I’m writing to reinforce my strong opinion that President Trump must be impeached and removed from office. This is not a close call, and I don’t believe that it would harm the country in any way to halt everything being done to create and bring forward the case. Our ability to help our own people is being actively sabotaged by this cabal. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say it’s okay to destroy the country in order to build some new fascist order. Impeachment exists precisely for moments when an official's conduct threatens the integrity of their office and the public trust. This has been proven over and over again during the Trump Administration. We’re long past the flashing red lights. We’re deep into the willing destruction of our own nation. We’re into sedition and treason territory as a by-product of extreme corruption and flouting of the law. Whatever political calculations are being made behind closed doors, holding a lawless President and his circle is not a partisan issue — it is the foundation of a functioning democracy, and refusing to act is itself a choice with consequences.
