An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Stop destruction of OSHA publications

21 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

Elon Musk's teams are using badly developed keyword searches and are demanding OSHA publications to be destroyed because the documents happen to contain a word such as "diversity" or "inclusion" in the text, even though they have nothing to do with DEI. Not only have these publications been removed from government websites, Musk's people are demanding that OSHA destroy all physical copies of these documents. Examples of the publications Musk is demanding to be destroyed include: OSHA Best Practices for Protecting EMS Responders During Treatment and Transport of Victims of Hazardous Substance Releases Guidelines for Nursing Homes: Ergonomics for the Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders Small Entity Compliance Guide for the Respiratory Protection Standard We taxpayers paid for these publications to be created. Individuals and private businesses need these publications to keep workers and customers safe. Do not let Elon Musk and his unqualified employees destroy taxpayer-paid public information.
