Fight for Clean Air, Clean Water, and a Livable Planet

I am writing to demand that you do your job and fight—aggressively and unapologetically—for clean air, clean water, and a clean, livable Earth for all Americans. This is not a partisan issue. This is not a “left” or “right” issue. This is a human issue. Every American—regardless of party, income, race, or zip code—needs clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and a healthy environment to live in. There is no economy without public health. There is no national strength without a livable planet. There is no freedom when people are poisoned by polluted water, toxic air, and contaminated land. We all want this. The American people want this. Clean air means fewer children with asthma, fewer seniors struggling to breathe, and fewer families buried under medical bills. Clean water means no community—ever—has to fear turning on the tap. A clean planet means healthier people, stronger communities, and a future worth handing to the next generation. Congress should be fighting for people—not polluters. Congress should be defending public health—not corporate profit. Congress should be leading—not stalling, denying, or weakening protections that keep Americans alive. Environmental protections exist because unchecked pollution harms and kills people. Rolling them back is not “freedom.” It is negligence. You swore an oath to serve the people of the United States. That includes protecting the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land we depend on. Anything less is a failure of leadership. The American people are watching. We expect action. We expect courage. We expect you to fight—for clean air, clean water, and a clean Earth—because our lives depend on it. Fight for us. Fight for people. Fight for America the Beautiful.
