Oppose & Vote NO on Steven Bradbury for Deputy Transportation Sec’y

Today I take pen in hand to write and urge you to oppose and vote NO on Steven Bradbury's nomination for Deputy Transportation Secretary. Bradbury is looking to build on his wretched record with a history of bad legal and administrative work on key transportation and environmental issues. Furthermore, as the former chief legal counsel at the Environmental Protection Agency under George W. Bush, Bradbury approved an EPA decision denying California's attempt to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles. This regressive stance undermined efforts to combat climate change and promote cleaner transportation. Also, Bradbury's legal opinions authorized controversial interrogation techniques employed under the Bush administration, raising serious ethical concerns about his judgment and respect for human rights. He obviously doesn’t care about safety. He’s only being put in place to further damage the FAA. His track record demonstrates a troubling disregard for environmental protections and a willingness to enable controversial policies that violate core American values. Bradbury also constantly parrots climate denier talking points and outdated perspectives that are fundamentally misaligned with the urgent need to advance sustainable transportation solutions and address the climate crisis head-on. In conclusion I urge you to submit question via your fellow committee members and expose his bad record on all these issues, and then, vote NO on his nomination.
