Protect Proof Alliance Funding

I’m writing as someone who cares about individuals and families in our community impacted by fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD). FASD is a lifelong, brain-based disability caused by prenatal alcohol exposure, and it affects as many as 1 in 20 children in the U.S. Despite how common it is, many families struggle to find understanding, resources, and support. With greater awareness and investment in FASD-informed approaches—like early identification, training for professionals and caregiver support—we can improve outcomes across education, health care and beyond. I hope you will continue to support efforts that expand funding, awareness and resources for Minnesotans impacted by FASD. Thank you for your time and service to our community.
