An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Defend vaccine research funding, safeguard public health and innovation

It is deeply concerning that Robert F. Kennedy Jr., without proper scientific expertise, is making consequential decisions about health policy that disregard input from virologists, epidemiologists, immunologists, and other relevant experts. Ignoring the clear evidence of mRNA vaccine safety and efficacy is unacceptable. Cutting off funding for further mRNA vaccine research will undermine American innovation and leave the nation ill-prepared for the next pandemic. This decision goes against the express intent of Congress in allocating funds for this vital research. I urge you to firmly defend the vaccine research funding approved by Congress to safeguard public health and maintain America's leadership in medical advancement.
