Vote Yes on the Massie Amendment to Cut $3.3 Billion in Military Aid to Israel

Vote yes on Rep. Thomas Massie's amendment to cut $3.3 billion in U.S. military aid to Israel from the 2027 State Department Appropriations bill. This is the only remaining floor vote on U.S.-Israel military funding after the Rules Committee blocked the NDAA amendment. Your vote here is the vote. The Israeli government has committed documented war crimes in Gaza and helped pull the United States into conflict with Iran. Continuing to send $3.3 billion in weapons — weapons that, by Rep. Meeks' own admission, won't even be built for years — does nothing for Israel's immediate security. It does, however, make American taxpayers complicit in ongoing civilian deaths. Rep. Greg Casar is right: the unintended consequences of this amendment do not outweigh the moral cost of doing nothing. I'm watching how my representative votes on this. A "no" vote is a vote to keep funding a military campaign that has killed thousands of civilians. The Democratic Party cannot credibly oppose this amendment while also claiming to stand for human rights. Vote yes.
