An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Investigate Elon Musks Disinformation .

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

I am writing to express my concern about false claims made by Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). They claimed to have saved $8 billion by canceling a contract, but the contract was actually only worth $8 million—a huge exaggeration. (Reuters) DOGE also reported $55 billion in savings, but a closer look shows only $16.6 billion can actually be verified. (Reuters) This kind of misleading information damages public trust and weakens government accountability. I am asking you to speak out against these false claims and push for a full review of DOGE’s reported savings. Additionally, I would like to know if you think this kind of behavior is acceptable in government. Do you support these actions? If so, please explain why. The American people deserve honesty and transparency from their leaders. Thank you for your time. I look forward to your response.
