An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Halt DOGE overreach, protect Americans' privacy and benefits

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

This alarming breach of privacy and potential abuse of power by DOGE is completely unacceptable. Allowing unelected officials to access the highly sensitive personal data of Social Security recipients poses a severe threat to millions of vulnerable Americans and violates the public's trust. DOGE must immediately cease these disturbing attempts to unlawfully obtain private information that could be exploited for malicious purposes against perceived enemies. We demand transparency on DOGE's actions thus far and firm legislation to rein in this rogue agency before they inflict further damage. Protecting the data security and earned benefits of hard-working citizens must be an utmost priority. This overreach cannot be tolerated in a democracy built on civil liberties. Decisive action is required to safeguard Americans' rights and hold DOGE accountable for these alarming transgressions.
