Quit the phone partisanship excuse. BLOCK AUTHORITARIAN TAKEOVER. I am fed up with the unevidenced talk about hyper-partisanship. There is division, to be sure, but it’s not partisanship. It’s not partisan to want to uphold the constitution, the rule of law, human decency, and adherence to our alliances and treaties. That’s not partisan and should not be up for debate. There is ONE SIDE and ONE SIDE only that has become a cult of extremists seeking to replace loyalty to the constitution with loyalty to Donald Trump, and tolerating egregious abuses of the rule of law and the constitution itself, propagating lies and spreading hatred. That side? The MAGA GOP. It is NOT partisan to say: we should uphold the constitution and protect conditional rights. NO, that position is the center ground and the bedrock of our nation. So please, NO MORE SHTCIK and COMPLAINTS about hyper partisanship. The extremists are one one side: the MAGA GOP who have moved beyond the pale, off the map, and betrayed the founding ideals of our nation. Did you read Project 2025? Do you understand that it is an existential threat to the foundational principles of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights? It is NOT PARTISAN to ask for adherence to the rule of law and the Constitution— yes, the same Constitution that you and the president swore and oath to abide by and protect. I ask you to STOP THIS ANTI-CONSTITUTIONAL ABUSE. DO NOT AGREE TO ANY FUNDING CR WHICH ENABLES THE CONTINUATION OF THE LAWLESSNESS AND ABUSE That are now the daily modus operandi of the so-called department of War, of DHS, of ICE, of the DOJ. Last time round a few democrats caved and said the abuse will be worse if the government is shut down. HOW WRONG THEY WERE. I BEG, PLEAD, DEMAND, that you DEFUND THESE ABUSIVE AGENCIES and DO OVERSIGHT. RECLAIM the CONSTITUTIONAL powers assigned to congress…………………..If you are not inclined to disagree, let me remind you that Trump wants to DEFUND Blue states and sanctuary cites—a grotesque abuse. NO MORE MILEQUETOAST both-sides-ing. The MAGA GOP are the extremists who have abandoned the constitution. DEFUNDING IS YOUR ONLY TOOL TO PUT ON THE BRAKES. Do it now.
