A role as vital as running the Pentagon demands the highest standards of professionalism and sobriety. Hegseth's track record suggests he may struggle to uphold those standards. For the sake of our national security and the well-being of our armed forces, I implore you to withdraw this nomination and select a candidate without such red flags in their background.
