Fight Back Against the Federal Voucher Scheme!

Please become a co-signer to the Keep Public Funds in Public Schools Act, S. 4297. This bill actively fights back against the federal voucher program introduced in last year’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” by repealing the tax credit previously available to individuals for contributions to scholarship-granting organizations. The case against a federal voucher program is clear when considering the model: Arizona’s universal voucher system. The program has already ballooned to over $780 million, while also funding private school tuition for families already sending their children to these expensive schools. The federal voucher scheme is a danger to our public school system, and we need to make sure that the quality of our public schools isn’t sacrificed by creating a tax shelter for the ultra-wealthy.
