We must not allow foreign adversaries to build data centers in Indiana

I am writing as a concerned constituent to express my deep disappointment in your support for Indiana Senate Enrolled Act 431 (2025). This legislation would allow foreign adversaries of the United States to build data centers on our soil, posing serious risks to our national security and critical infrastructure. In an era of increasing cyber threats and geopolitical tensions, it is unacceptable to permit entities from hostile nations to establish a foothold in Indiana’s digital and energy landscape. Data centers are vital to our economy and national defense, storing sensitive information and facilitating key technological operations. Allowing adversarial nations access to such infrastructure is a direct threat to Hoosiers and to the broader security of our country. As your constituent, I urge you to reconsider your position and take a stronger stance in protecting Indiana and the United States from foreign influence in our critical industries. I expect our elected officials to prioritize national security over corporate interests and foreign investments that could undermine our state and country.
